About the Artist
Jon Prom is an Alberta-based Landscape Artist. He connects on canvas through various mediums including oil, acrylic, paint enhancing materials, and epoxy to create stirring pieces of artwork that have been curated for private collections and custom commissioned pieces.
In 2021, JonProm Art was created and painting as an artist became his full-time career purpose after many years of learning paralleling skills and techniques as a car painter and wrapper. As an intrinsically innovative person, Jon is continuously creating new artwork with diverse mediums, unique techniques, and creative processes.
Inspiration
Much of my artwork is inspired by the outdoors and vivid memories, whether a single iridescent feather floating from the open sky, the perpetual engine hum below a vibrant evening metro skyline, a warm ray of sunshine on a vast mountain view, or whatever the day presents.
With my passion for nature and the creative spark it provides, I enjoy being outdoors and expanding my pool of inspiring experiences through many summits and hikes with my wife and two dogs.
